DATA CARE STEPS

myiwin Data Handling, Step By Step

The short version: we collect as little as we reasonably can, we lock it down, and we remove it once its period closes. Cookies on the site fall into two groups — the ones that keep your session and wallet working, and the ones that measure how sections get used. You can decline the second group from the cookie panel without losing access to the lobby. Here is the same order we follow when a request lands with us.

Account Data We Hold

Registration details, verification documents where requested, your wallet and transaction history across e-wallet and online banking rails, login and device records, and the contact preferences you saved on the account.

Cookies And Device Records

Session cookies keep you logged in and hold your wallet view steady while you move between pages. Measurement cookies show us which sections get used, and you can turn those off from the panel.

Account Security Steps

We ask for a one-time code on new devices, watch for logins from unfamiliar locations, and let you change your password from account settings whenever you want to.

Retention And Removal

Most records stay only as long as the account is open, plus a set period after closure for dispute and legal duties. Ask us to close the account and we tell you what stays and why.

Where To Send Your Data Request

Requests about your record go through the same doors as everything else, not a form buried three menus deep. Whether you are in Kuantan or logging in between meetings, one message starts the process, and we keep the thread attached to your ticket so nothing drifts on the way to an answer. Tell us what you want changed, and we confirm the account before we touch anything on the file.

Live Chat Open live chat inside your account with your request: a copy of your record, a correction, or a question about how a transaction was logged. We confirm your identity before anything on the file is discussed.
Email Request Send your request from the email address registered on the account. That match is what lets us act without a long back-and-forth, and it keeps a written trail you can hold on to.
Account Security Desk If you think someone else has reached your login, use this line first. We lock the session, check the device records, and walk you through resetting your password before anything else.

Privacy Questions We Get Often

Below are the six questions we are asked most about account data, answered the same way we would answer them in live chat. Each answer points back to the part of the policy it comes from, so you can check the wording yourself rather than take our word for it. If your question is not here, send it across — the reply comes back in writing, with the same detail a support agent would give you.

Your registration details, email, date of birth, and the verification documents we ask for. Once you fund the wallet through Touch 'n Go eWallet, Boost or GrabPay, transaction records are added to the same file.

Ask through live chat or from your registered email address. We confirm the account, then send a readable file covering your profile, wallet movements and login records. We answer in writing so you keep a record.

We share only what a payment rail needs to complete a transfer: the amount, a reference, and the wallet or bank detail involved. Each provider sees its own leg of the payment and nothing more.

Most of the file is removed once the closure is processed. A smaller set stays for a fixed period because dispute handling and record-keeping duties require it, and we tell you which parts those are.

Two groups. Session cookies keep your login and wallet view working while you move around the lobby. Measurement cookies count which sections you open, and the panel lets you switch that group off.

Yes. Marketing preferences sit separately from your account file, so turning them off changes nothing about your login, wallet or ability to reach support. You can switch them back on whenever you want to.
